Virtual dinner with my US friends. Lift the US travel ban and I can be with them for real.
If there is any reason why I am looking forward to returning to NYC then it may be the fact that at this present moment My friends and I are eating dinner [virtually]. They are eating lunch in NYC and I am eating dinner in the UK. We are streaming through the FaceTime, connected to my TV. It's a great experience but I will say it's not the real deal and I long for the day when I can actually eat with my friends, in person which I have not been able to do in over 14 months. I'm still optimistic and positive that I will be able to join my friends in NYC very soon.

I've been FaceTiming with my partner since he left, July 2019. It is difficult, FaceTime is our norm and it is hard to imagine what it was like to be together. However, the next few weeks bring a lot of opportunity for productive conversation between government officials and we are getting so much media coverage on this issue I feel. I'm optimistic too - trying to book flights for this September.
