Nothing mentioned on lifting of travel ban in President Biden Press Conference.
President Biden, "Heading into a bright summer of joy" but unfortunately nothing on lifting the travel bans, but please don't despair, I feel the time is coming. Be positive, I'm convinced we'll be allowed to travel to the US soon

It increasingly seems that travel restrictions are driven by politics rather than science. I'd hope therefore that the Biden administration claiming July 4th will mark USA's 'independence from Covid', points to rescinding all UK and Schengen area travel restriction presidential proclamations during that time. We have task forces now, the media is increasingly aware of this injustice and the vaccination rates in the UK and Europe are consistently reaching important milestones. This simply cannot go on forever - the travel sector is being impacted by this in a manner that cannot be ignored. It is just a waiting game! 16 months is far too long, and I'm sure the CDC and US government realise this.
