Lufthansa does not expect the USA to relax restrictions until the end of the year

Lufthansa looking at end of the year for flights to resume between EU and the US. Translation below: " The long-awaited relaxation of the strict corona travel rules for travelers to the USA is still a long time coming.  According to airline manager Harry Hohmeister, Lufthansa is now assuming that it will not open until the end of the year.  "Realistically, we won't be able to expect that until the late fourth quarter," he said at the congress of the tourism trade journal fvw.  However, he had been too optimistic in the past with the expectation that this would already happen in July.  Lufthansa boss Carsten Spohr then bet on September.  But nothing will come of that either, especially since the European Union recently classified the USA as a risk area due to the infection situation and thus tightened the requirements for people arriving from there."
