✉️ [From Reader: Mathieu]
Thread of my trip to the USA flying American Airlines through British airways. First I downloaded VeriFLY app. Day -2 I set up vaccination proof. Manual verification took about 15 min with the NHS scotland letter.
Covid antigen test done at @EDI_Airport. Results in 30 min. Uploaded in VeriFLY. And accepted in about 2 hours. I was all set with my « ready to fly » pass.
Very slow checking in EDI but showing VeriFLY pass was enough. Connecting flight through London. American airline required documents check. Took over a hour and I almost missed my flight but once again, only showing VeriFLY app was fine.
Arrived in Chicago, super smooth through immigration (ESTA). Got the usual questions about reason of stay but no question about Covid. In and out in 5 minutes
