However one of the things I do miss about travelling to the US is the direct flight from Manchester to Newark on United 80. Before United it was Continental direct flight with service to Newark. I always enjoyed the US hospitality, so I would always try and book myself on United to the US. Obviously COVID came along and the direct flight became a casualty. Since then I've flown United to Newark via Brussels, which to be fair is not much different air fare wise, it takes a little longer of course but on the whole I do choose United as my airline of choice. It's strange the things you do for airline loyalty not to mention the air miles and you build along the way. Anyway I'm sure you all have your own favourite airline of choice to transport you to the US. And if you're planning a US trip soon I hope you have a wonderful time.

What airline I choose to fly to the USA and the reasons why.
