Delta Airlines says it’s confident pre-departure COVID testing requirement could be dropped within weeks

I hope this becomes reality soon, according to an editorial in iNews, "Delta president Glen Hauenstein told analysts during the company's first-quarter earnings call on Wednesday: "Hopefully that gets rolled back in the next few weeks. We are hearing good things from Washington.""

Now obviously this may well be optimism on behalf of the airlines but it does make sense as other countries across the world are dropping the pre departure COVID requirement. Personally I think the test only adds to the anxiety of travelling, asking yourself will I be positive, will I be negative? I know when I took my pre-departure test it was a huge relief to see my negative test result. So yes please, let's hope this pocket of optimism is true, I for sure will be happy.
