Want to travel to the USA but recently had COVID? Here is what to do…

Another frequently asked question is can I travel to the USA if I recently had COVID or I'm recovering. For those who have not had COVID you will need to take the 1 day pre-departure Covid test. If you have recently recovered from COVID-19, you may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19.

You will need the positive test result.  You will also need a signed letter from a healthcare provider or a public health official that states you have been cleared for travel. Firstly try your Doctor, I've heard many people say that their Doctor has provided them with a letter. So that should be your first call. Also worth remembering these requirements do apply for children aged 2 years or younger.

Remember the letter has to be signed, it needs to be from a public health official. If that fails, I have had readers who have explained that their Doctor was not willing to provide maybe try online resources that can provide documentation in a relatively quick timescale. I've heard of people use the following two organisations, without any issues:

Medicspot £59 - https://www.medicspot.co.uk
Treat local £39 [upwards]
