I love this - it’s so convenient to pay for travel in New York City directly from my Apple Watch. When visiting New York City you can pay contactless for your bus and subway journeys.

For those of you who haven't visited New York City in a while be aware that the Metrocard, that you use to navigate buses and subways will be phased out by April 2024. In its place is the new contactless way to pay, OMNY and it's so much convenient. You can pay via your contactless VISA card or other contactless form of payment, Apple Pay and Google Pay included. I usually use my Apple Watch because two presses of a button and I'm through the turnstile to whatever destination in NYC. If you prefer to pay by cash that's fine, Metrocard you can still use, up until April 2024. However consider paying the OMNY way and paying contactless, it's quick, easy and so much convenient. You can get more information on OMNY here: https://omny.info/
