It is distressing to read headlines hitting the press this week about delays at UK airports resulting in people missing flights. It is also a stress that we do not need when we are flying to the US, especially given the requirements expected of us before we fly.
However we have to remember that despite the lines of people, despite the cancellations, the staff at the airports are doing their upmost to ensure we get away. As a passenger, no matter how frustrating, we have to remember that Airport staff are under so much pressure. So I will remind myself in 2 weeks time to be nice to all the hard working ground staff for check in agents to baggage handlers, without them there would be no US Travel for me, so let's remember to be nice to these wonderful people.
Have a lovely day everyone and happy flying if you are departing for the US today.
