No only those people who are fully vaccinated [boosters are not mandatory]
Do I still need to be vaccinated to enter the USA?
Yes, the CDC states that you need your two doses but there is no legal requirement for booster vaccinations.
Do I still need to provide details of where I am staying in the USA?
The CDC issued an order requiring airlines and other aircraft operators to collect contact information for passengers before their arrival into the United States.
Air passengers are required to provide the following information, to the extent that it exists, within 72 hours before their flight's departure:
- full name
- address while in the United States
- primary contact phone number
- secondary or emergency contact phone number
- and email address
Will I be able to get a cancellation for my already booked COVID test?
You will need to speak with whomever you booked it with, be patient with them, it's likely that they are inundated with requests but make sure if you email them with your request you keep a copy of the email.
What constitutes as proof of being fully vaccinated?
The NHS app should be sufficient so make sure you download that and have plenty of charge on your phone. It also never hurts to print off a copy. Make sure, vitally important, the name and details on your proof of vaccination matches with the name on your airline ticket and passport.
What are the rules for children who are partly or have not been vaccinated?
Children between the ages of 2 and 17 should be tested with a “Covid-19 viral test” 3 to 5 days after arriving in the United States, unless such person has documentation of having recovered from Covid-19 in the past 90 days. Now how many families comply with this is not known but that’s the wording from the CDC.
Do I still need to complete the US Attestation form?
Yes, there is a revised Attestation Form. One attestation form must be filled out for each passenger age 2 years or older who is not a U.S. citizen. The attestation may be filled out by the air passenger or on behalf of the air passenger by a legal representative, such as a parent or guardian. The form is much simpler now of course. Do I have to quarantine or take a COVID test upon arrival to the USA?
You do not need to quarantine upon arrival into the USA but the USA recommends that you take a COVID test within 3-5 days. This is not compulsory and I don't know many people who do this.
Do I still need an ESTA to visit the USA or has this been scrapped?

Do I need to take a COVID test or fill in any paperwork before I head back to the UK?
The answer is no, you do not.
