A fantastic resource that I'm using to price flights for my US travel trips at the moment is Google Flights. It saves me having to search constant websites looking for the cheapest flights. It provides me with the best fare for the class of travel I am interested in flying and compares to others. I can see when I will get the best deals and gives me the websites so I can book directly with the airline. I've found airlines such as United and British Airways good for Premium Economy. It also provides results for airlines you would not expect to be the cheapest. An example Aer Lingus direct from Manchester to JFK for New York in economy is substantially cheaper than the likes of Virgin and I would have never realised if I had not used Google Flights. So if you're on a budget check Google Flights because it really is an excellent resource and will save you time and potentially money.
