I cannot wait to see the Boom Supersonic Overture plane come into service. It's had a refined design unveiled this week. I'm excited at the prospect of being able to fly from London to New York City in 3 hours and 30 minutes at 1.7 Mach across the Atlantic.
I know that United Airlines will use the new Boom Supersonic Overture aircraft and I'm excited for that. Imagine boarding the plane at 10am from London Heathrow and arriving into New York City at 8:30am, landing before you even took off. The days of Concorde come to mind and from what it looks like the prospect of this airline turning into reality is a lot more realistic than some of the other pie in the sky ideas we have see over the years. You can see the refined Overture design on the Boom Sonic website and although passenger service of the new aircraft is still a few years away I cannot wait to make it my choice aircraft for US Travel.
