When British Airways operated its final Concorde flight on October 24, 2003, the era of supersonic commercial aviation came to an end. The British Airways plane, the slender, needle-nosed 20th-century emblem of international jet-setters, departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport on its final flight to London's Heathrow Airport.
Let's hope Boom Supersonic can bring back supersonic travel and make it affordable for us all to travel between the US and UK.
