The best way to save money when using your UK sim mobile phone when visiting the USA.

From Dominic Bull

Hi Sam, Just read your blog on US mobile contracts. I've just moved from EE to O2 and the travel aspect was a big thing for me. This is my take:

EE meant paying £10 a month extra for a bolt-on which allowed you to use your data and minutes in US. Not bad value.

O2 if you have a Virgin Media broadband contract you can get a "Volt" package which includes using your UK data and minutes in US included for no extra.

I also was on Three, which for travel was great but I ultimately decided to move away as the UK coverage was poor and I couldn't get a signal at home.
