Can you believe that it has almost been a year since the US reopened its borders to vaccinated travellers and flights left Europe and the United Kingdom to travel to America, carrying people like you and I, tourists, people who wish to meet up with friends and family, et cetera.
I still remember watching both the British Airways and the Virgin Atlantic planes takeoff, in tandem, from London Heathrow, heading to the United States I remember, with a tear to my eye, joyous, of course, just how wonderful it was to watch the footage, to watch the US borders reopen for the first time to vaccinated travellers. Yes we still have some way to go until the US allows all visitors. However, let's not forget the sacrifices that we made, let us not forget the time that we were unable to travel, and let's be thankful for the small mercy of travelling.
