Hi Sammual, I am not sure whether you have touched on this on your blog or tweets but there are a group of us that are stuck in the US because of the travel ban. I am on a J1 visa as a teacher, pay taxes and do my part but not considered a citizen of course. So if I was to leave to go visit my family I would not be allowed back in the USA and be at risk of loosing my job, visa and life out here. I have been out here 4 years and it is the hardest decision.
I have not seen my family and friends in 2 years. My brother gets married in November and I need this travel ban to be lifted otherwise I will either miss a big family event or risk loosing my job and life in the United States.
Thank you for all you are doing I just wanted to know if you knew about us on the other side.
✈️ My name is Sammual-James McLoughlin, I visit the USA on a regular basis. This blog provides advice and guidance on getting the most from your travel to the US.
