I've taken the plunge and booked flights for me and my girlfriend to fly to New York City for Valentine's Day. I'm taking a gamble I know but let's see what happens, surely by then America will have vaccinated more people and infection rates may have even fallen. I know it's a chance but I have to have something to look forward to.
I took a gamble in May and booked flights for the 9th of September and obviously i had to cancel the trip and left it till the day before.
ReplyDeleteThe following day, the day of the flight, i received an email from the border security with the subject ESTA Status Change
I went to check my ESTA status which does expire on the 26th of December and on enetering my details, it cant be found, so i think its been revoked!!
It does say in the FAQ on their site that i am allowed to apply again in the future.
I think its because i left it late to cancel and the Advanced Passenger Information had already been passed on.
I think it might be prudent to cancel earlier just in case.
My next booked flight in the 9th of Feb to Vegas and like you, hope that the ban is lifted!!
