If you're travelling to the US remember you need to take a supervised COVID test - 1 day before departure. I recommend an Antigen test, it's cheaper and quicker.

Therefore if your flight departs at 3pm on a Thursday then you can take your test any time on the Wednesday. So 9am on the Wednesday, for example, would be fine.
