I'm not going to talk politics but needless to say the uncertainty with what is going on with British politics is certainly impacting the UK US exchange rate. £1 is now worth $1.19.
When I was younger I remember £1 = $2 now that was something. I remember going to the US at the time and thinking just how inexpensive everything was. Those days a long time ago, will we ever get there again? Who knows but with sterling at a two year low this is not good for those wishing to travel to the US this Summer. So hopefully if we soon get some stability in UK politics will relieve some of the pressure and with a little luck we will see an uplift in the exchange rate, so please don't panic just yet.
