Rather than taking a photocopy of your passport or even worse taking your passport and running the risk of losing it, take your driving license instead. You may think that you look over 21 but the bars will still ask you for your license, so carry it with you. Have it in your wallet, just keep it with you, because honestly you'll be asked it before you order your first beer.
