Great news if you have visited Cuba before January 12 2021 and wish to visit the USA. " If you travelled to Cuba prior to January 12, 2021, you remain eligible to apply for Esta", says communications from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Meaning fantastic news, you won't need to apply for a visa, your application for an Esta should be fine. The Independent has more information but in summary it's great news - https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/cuba-us-esta-ban-tourists-visa-b2273349.html?amp
